Account Maintenance/General Questions
Completing your account enrollment is quick and easy. Simply log in to your Security Center at member.idseal.com to answer questions to validate your identity.
If a customer does not complete account enrollment by verifying their identity, they will not have access to their identity theft protection features and thereby not receive critical alerts. Customers with accounts not yet authenticated are still eligible to receive: Up to $1 Million Identity Theft Insurance2, White Glove Restoration, Lost Wallet Protection, and 24/7 Identity Theft Recovery Support.
A 72-hour security lock will be imposed on your account if your authentication fails. It is crucial to wait until the lock is lifted before attempting to authenticate again. Any authentication attempts before the lock resets will extend it for an additional 72 hours.
After three unsuccessful login attempts, for security reasons your account will be locked. If your account is authenticated and you receive a notification stating that your account has been locked, please use the "Help Me Login" button. If your account is not authenticated, please reach out to IDSeal for further assistance and resolution.
On your Security Center login page, click the "Need Help Logging in?" button and follow the prompts. You will receive an email with a password link. The reset password link is only valid for 10 minutes.
Log in to the Member Portal at https://member.idseal.com using your email address and password. If you have not yet set up a password for your Member Portal (different from your Security Center password), you will need to reference your email from IDSeal "Complete IDSeal Member Portal Registration" to create your new password then try logging in again.

To reset your Member Portal password, please visit the Member Portal by clicking on the following link: https://member.idseal.com/login. Once there, click on the "Forgot Password" option. You will receive an email with a password link. Then, follow the instructions provided in the email.

VantageScore 3.0 is a credit score model developed by Experian®, TransUnion®, and Equifax®. VantageScore 3.0 is used by some but not all lenders. There are different credit scoring models which may be used by lenders and insurers. Your lender may not use VantageScore 3.0, so don't be surprised if your lender gives you a score that's different from your VantageScore.

You can set up the tools from IDSeal to perform daily scans to monitor your personally identifying information, including your Social Security number, Driver’s License number, Financial Information, and more for suspicious activity in places like the Dark Web.

What the thief is doing would be perfectly legal if done by you (eg accessing bank accounts, etc). Also the person stealing the info is always the one using it, can be sold.

There are many ways that your information can get into the wrong hands. You should always use caution while online and any time you share your sensitive data.
The evolving nature of cyber threats and identity theft make it impossible to ensure absolute protection or monitor all online activities. Unfortunately, no security solution on the market can entirely eliminate the risk of cybercrime or identity theft. IDSeal does not guarantee complete protection against cybercrime or identity theft and cannot monitor all activities of every financial institution or guarantee comprehensive monitoring. It is essential that individuals take proactive measures to safeguard their personal information and prevent unauthorized access.
Billing
To cancel your subscription, you can reach out to IDSeal via chat, email at support@IDSeal.com, call 1-888-325-5865 during customer service hours, send us a letter, or in certain states you can cancel online directly through your Member Portal.
To reactivate your subscription, log in to your Member Portal and click on the "Reactivate Account" button.
For updating or adding a new credit card, log into your Member Portal, choose "Billing Information," and click on "Update Credit Card."
To upgrade your subscription, log into the Member Portal, choose "Subscription Information" from the list of options, and click on "Change my Plan."
To update your account information, simply initiate a chat with a Customer Care Specialist or log in to your Member Portal to make any desired updates. If you need to update your monitored information, please log in to your Security Center.
Your subscription starts on the day your order is successfully processed, which is usually the day you place or reactivate your order. Your subscription will automatically renew on your bill date. You can also view your billing information by logging into your Member Portal here.
IDSeal Pro-Tec®
To request a Pro-Tec key, log in to the Member Portal, choose "My Account Information" and select, "Click here to request your Pro-Tec key." Your Pro-Tec key will be emailed, or you can refresh your browser and it will be visible.
If you already have a key, then the Pro-Tec key will be displayed on the "My Account Information" page.
To download IDSeal Pro-Tec®, log in to your Member Portal and select "Downloads". For Windows and Mac: After the download is complete, locate the IDSeal Pro-Tec® installation file and open it. This will initiate the installation wizard. Then, click on the "Install" button and wait for the installation process to finish. Once completed, insert your Pro-Tec key, and you will have successfully installed IDSeal Pro-Tec® on your device.
For mobile devices: Please visit the Google Play or Apple Store and search for "IDSeal Pro-Tec"® or log into your Member Portal and select "Downloads" on your mobile device.
Note for iOS users: use the email that you registered with IDSeal as your log in email, and enter your Pro-Tec key including dashes as your password. Android users simply enter in your Pro-Tec key.
If you ever need to remove IDSeal Pro-Tec®, you can uninstall it from your computer or mobile device following the standard procedure for removing software. Locate the installed IDSeal product and proceed with the uninstallation process as you would for any other software. This will effectively remove IDSeal Pro-Tec® from your device.
To remove an IDSeal Pro-Tec® key from the old device to a new device, initiate a chat with a Customer Care Specialist.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) enhances online privacy by enabling you to connect to a VPN server so you can mask your IP address and routing data by accessing the internet through an encrypted tunnel. This helps maintain the privacy of your internet activity and conceal your location. Please note that some countries and companies restrict or block the use of VPNs.
Installing Antivirus safeguards your devices by providing comprehensive protection against malicious programs that pose a threat to personal computers and Android mobile devices. Leveraging active protection mechanisms, antivirus actively monitors, blocks, and notifies you upon detecting any potential threats. It effectively safeguards your devices by blocking and quarantining harmful incoming emails, while also offering automatic scans on a predefined schedule to identify and eliminate threats. Having more than one antivirus software is not recommended and can cause issues with your system. IDSeal recommends using just one antivirus software.
IDSeal's password vault allows you to conveniently scan your device to locate traceable login credentials you've used across various websites, portals, or service providers. Once identified, these passwords can be encrypted and securely stored on your device in an offline location for safekeeping. This feature means your login information is kept in a protected location that is easily accessible when needed, offering an added layer of security to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts.
An encrypted document vault provides a protected and centralized location for storing sensitive electronic files locally on your device. By utilizing encryption and masking techniques, the document vault helps to shield your documents from unauthorized discovery or access.
Some web browsers offer password syncing features as a convenience if you use the same user login across devices. IDSeal Pro-Tec® prioritizes your security by encrypting and storing passwords locally on your device in an offline vault rather than syncing them across devices.
